In the days of 20-21 of November, a national congress entitled "The Holiness of Motherhood" took place in Nizhny Novgorod, dedicated to pro-family politics. Mrs. Ewa Kowalewska, the European Coordinator of the Peregrination of the Czestochowa Icon, was a guest speaker at this symposium.

In Cork, the Icon was hosted for only 3 hours at St Augustine's church before leaving for France via Rosslare. The Icon was brought there at 9 am and left after 12 noon, but people had gathered since 7 am to pray while waiting for the arrival of Our Lady of Czestochowa. St Augustine's church, too, is the home of many Polish people. Mass was celebrated in English at 9:30 am.

Perhaps no other place needed the presence of the Travelling Icon more than Galway did... Only a few days after the international scandal caused by the tragic death of Savita Halappanavar had broken, the troubled city of Galway was providentially hosting Our Lady of Czestochowa coming as a Peaceful Pilgrim in defence of human life.

On Monday, the 19th of November, the Icon travelled to Knock in County Mayo. It arrived there before the 12 noon Mass and was received into the parish church and placed in the main altar. People were able to venerate it in the parish church until 3 pm that day. The Icon was then brought into the Apparition Chapel where it remained until the following day (Tuesday, the 20th of November) at 1 pm.
